A fellow hockey person reminded me that the CSHL entered a team to the Toronto Prospects again this year. Last year I made the same comment I think all the Tier III leagues should enter a U18 team in that tournament. What a way to promote the leagues as an alternative to Midget Majors. I did write a letter to the WSHL commish on this but alas no team entered in one of the most pretigious prospect tournaments in the world. My hat is off to xcheck and his CSHL crew. Hope the CSHL team does as well this year as last.

Is it possible that some leagues choose not to form teams because they're not prepared to let go of their top prospects to higher opportunities sooner than expected? Or: Somes leagues are unable to plan ahead for such an event? Or: (fill in other reasons/excuses here) HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL!

I don't think the MNJHL could do this because we probably don't have more than 15 kids in our league that are under 18.
