I and my family went to Minnesota for the holidays. I know why they play hockey there. They go to a rink to come in out of the cold.
Never saw 25 degrees, and it got colder after we left.

Getting ready to send my college aged son back there to finish his degree. He reported the high at his college was going to be -14 today. Makes the winters here in Wyoming a little bit easier to take sometimes.

Speaking of MN Missoula traded Schutte to a team there for a defenseman. Don't know if losing the second biggest guy in the league will have a negative effect, but after sweeping Helena this weekend even before the new d arrived looks like it paid off. Of course they still have the biggest guy in the league.

The D'man they got is named Mahoney. Great kid and even better player. If I'm not mistaken when he left he was the leading scorer for D-men in the MJ. Should be in the NAHL, but is a bit small (5'-8").
