Well the wel documented thrashing the Aw put on is over now is the dog fight towards the end of the year. By all accounts it looks like a Seattle, Eugnene final is pretty well set. But who will be skating in the AW, I would think the top three will stay and the 2 vs 3 series is gonna get interesting.
I am not sure if Helena want to see Missoula in the playoffs. Remember the sweep came before the new kid arrived. As far as kids being borrowed for the showcase it kinds sucks for the kids on the roster to have to sit because a player comes in right before the only scouted games the league has, then that kid is vapor. Owners should be looking after their own players not someone elses.
This week kicks off with Yellowstone and Missoula so the it may be a preview of a first round series should be entertaining to say the least.

Saw much the same from Missoula on Friday night as I have said I saw against Seattle. Although the spped was better, almost zero puck movement, lots og guys trying to go end to end, no use of the points when the cycle broke down. Final result a 5-1 win for the Quake. Who by the way moved the puck very well and played a better team game.
How the world can change over night. On Saturday during the second period the Maulers got back to their team game and ended up with 7 unanswered goals. 4 came from the defense. Who were suddenly being passed to again.
My point to all this. Teams who play as teams will always beat individuals who play as individuals, regardless of talent.
