Not to put the attendance discussion on the back burner, but looking ahead to the playoffs, the closest race for seeding in the first round seems to be between the Maulers and the Quake for the 2 seed in the AW.

I am interested in opinions as to which team has the advantage through these last few games to achieve the 2 rank and gain home advantage in the first round?

The way I see it with 8 games left and only 2 against Helena or Yellowstone and 6 against the "B" teams, Missoula may have a slight edge in schedule. But if the Quake can take another from Helena or beat Missoula outright they will be the 2 seed, thats a tough row to hoe with only 7 games left. Relevent thoughts anyone?

Why is Missoula the Whipping Boy on these boards? Is it because they are one of the newest teams and they put a competitive product on the ice every year? Is that really any reason to bully them around? Does it really make you feel better about your own team to rag on others?
