Looks like the newly named Southern Oregon Spartans will be holding a tryout in Salt Lake City over Memorial Day weekend, specifically at the County Ice Center. That is a very nice facility and a practice facility for the 02 Olympic Games. Maybe Salt Lake could be considered for a NorPac franchise.

The Spartans (nee Wranglers)identify the facilities in Salt Lake as being nice. They are. More than one sheet of ice; local youth programs and college club team use it. My kid played there a few times when he was younger and on a team in the Southwest League. Doesn't mean that is would be good for NorPac, as it would be serious travel and probably not affordable. Still - why not Norpac instead of WSHL or NAHL. Somebody is going to do it in all probability. Mormons can skate, too. Seriously, Poin, maybe your chain is just being pulled.
