First off, congrats to all of the recipients of this years award, Esp. Cafrelli, who deserved the award given to him.
My only question was Jensen named to the second team as a forward. Didn't he play defense most of the year. I do think he deserved to be on the team, but not as a forward.
Anybody else agree?

I find it interesting that only 3 of the 13 players honored were from the state of Minnesota.

Cafrelli is without question the League MVP. Congrats!!! I don't think it is even close. It is good to see that the majority of the coaches and gm's voted for him. Not many goalies make the League MVP in the history of the league but note that Ronnie Druk did three years ago for the Owls as well. Have any other goalies done it?

Also it is good to see all of the out state talent that will do anything they can to make a Minnesota Junior Hockey League team.

Hey CX your good with wit and stats, maybe that would be because the locals of MN play at a higher level such as the U, the N, Canada A or oh yes that would also be MN HS play which has one of the best HS hockey programs in the world. When you check that data let me know. You are right the MnJHL recruits heavily from across the country and that is no secret.
