Doing some surfing here during lunch I note that the Ice Hawks have promoted several to college. Nice to see and congrats! I just have one question, I noticed that every promotion were all aged out players. Do the Ice Hawks ever promote younger kids to college?

I did some surfing of my own on crosscheck and couldnt find anything... then i realized i was searching under the wrong keyword. so I search Toolbox, and Moron and his picture profile popped right back up... whats your beef crosscheck? did you or your kid get cut from camp? a lot of people are sure hoping they bump into you on the streets of rochester during nationals...

Dear (Not) use ur head:
Mr Check has a legitimate question. How about posting when you can offer a more intelligent answer?

Simple answer... not really. Unless a kid jumps up to the NA (which is rare), then they spend 2 or 3 years at the Ice Hawks before they move on to a college roster. Nothing wrong with it if you can afford to play the 3 years. But then again, some kids may not be ready for college after their 1st or 2nd years... ever think of that crosscheck???

Disagree and argue all you want, no problem. However getting personal and name calling does NOT endear you to me or the mods.

Agree with Dad enough is enough. As for the IceHawks way to go but it is a good solid program and the tuition has been reasonable in the past for Tier III. If I remember right they have never used the allowable maximum. I do recall some players moving up in the past to the NA and Tier two in CA. In fact I actually seen some former Hawks skating in CA (not Californiaia either). Go figure American kids playing Canadian Hockey.

sweet pea. I respect the heck out of you and the information you post. but come on... really... crosscheck is just picking a fight and you know it.. i'm just the guy who answers the call squares up across him in the faceoff circle and drops the gloves on the whistle.

as for Dad, I'm not here to endear myself to Mods or some sort of superficial power structure. if i was wanting to do that i'd work for USA Hockey. if you want to censure me then feel free. I dont post much anyways.

as for the serious answer: cross check rips the hawks for moving players on, he rips them for not moving players. he rips them for winning he rips them for not winning. his adgenda is clear: to harm the reputation of the hawks and/or MJ in the hopes that some goofy parent reading these meaningless message boards changes their mind on coming to roch because of something posted here..

the point is Dad, if you want to censur personal attacks on this board. then delete every one of his personal shots at the Hawks or MJ... and then dont dissapear, let the site run amuck then come back and try to set the rules back up like you were never gone. you remind me of my real dad! hahaha

Sanctions have been imposed on Mr Check from the jungle drum gods in the past. This time, he was asking an actual question. Too bad you fell into defensive mode.
To be sure, the streets of Rochester will be safe for all to walk in the Spring.

Interesting I haven't witness xcheck making that many personal attacks but others are. As for him questioning organizations good for him and good for others praising the hawks. I know of several posters from MN that have attack the Hawks and coach Nick personally and no personal responses like when xcheck asks a legitimate question. Anyways to me those aren't personal attacks and I respond accordingly. I just dislike personal name calling between posters like calling someone stupid ect we have handles here use them or go to mlive please. We also know xcheck loves to defend the CSHL and this year he actully has cause to let him gloat cause the cshl won plain and simple. Anyways if the data he presented isn't true confront the data not the person just because you don't like the person. As for the parents I would be listening to xchecks posts right now and not xcheck attack ads anyways. The way I put my post defends the Hawks better and we all know the Hawks do a good job of moving kids on and also I know the Fatis family wouldn't hold a player regardless of what anyone says. I don't need the data to back up my opinion. I know from personal experience. As I said great organization. Also I might add Nick talks openly and honestly to parents and kids. Also if a kid can't move on Nick just doesn't dump that player hence maybe that is why some age out-anyways lots of reasons. If your kid is playing Tier III it is one of the better places to play.
